I shot this last photo from a high hill just opposite from the valley where the church was. for me it was interesting how the church (as an institution) uses the elements of the local architecture – the well-known and adored houses that look like boats or ships. as if its another way to get under the skin of the locals, to bring the church closer to the local reality
